Why AuditEngine

Typical audits are performed by election officials by tallying the votes on a sample of ballots. In contrast, audits by AuditEngine are performed independently, reviewing all ballot images with a fine level of detail and comparing ballot by ballot with the official results for all ballots. Our audits can detect opportunistic hacks, malicious manipulation, as well as machine or human errors. AuditEngine provides another view of the results of the election and is generally more accurate in predicting voter intent than the leading machines.
